Well, Spring has come to Saint George and we are busy, busy! We have had a number of visitors who we really enjoyed. (What else can I say as they read the blog) We took Missy and Stacye to Zion National Park to conquer Angel's Landing as well as hikes right by our home. In addition, we spent time by the fire pit enjoying the scenery and lots of wine. Our good friend Karen came a week later just as we were almost recovered. We spent many an afternoon and evening by the fire pit. Karen does not drink wine, but the harder liquor was flowing. It seems like there is a common theme here. The Utah officials have us under surveillance for our partying ways. Here are some pictures from the visits.

Karen and Pete at the same restaurant. Is it me, or does it look like Pete has had one too many drinks?

Most recently we have gone to a couple of concerts at the Tuacahn Amphitheater which is 2.5 miles from our home. It is set back in the canyon with red rock cliffs as the back drop. We first saw Martina McBride and then on another night we saw Colbie Caillat. Martina was good, but I certainly recognized more songs by Colbie. Either way, the setting is magnificent and we are home and in bed 15 minutes after the concert ends! They also do broadway style productions. This year they are showing Mama Mia, Shrek and Newsies. We have our tickets! We are also seeing Clint Black and Kenny Loggins in concert. Yes, they are still alive!
